Are you a seasoned Trusts and Estates Attorney with a passion for helping clients navigate the complex world of estate planning and asset protection? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Trusts and Estates Attorney to join our team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and provide expert advice on a wide range of trust and estate matters.
Responsibilities:
As a Trusts and Estates Attorney, you will be responsible for a diverse range of tasks, including:
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients on complex estate planning, asset protection planning, and trusts & estates administration.
- Developing and implementing sophisticated estate plans and wealth transfer strategies.
- Handling all aspects of trust administration, including the preparation of estate tax returns.
- Working closely with clients and their advisors to understand their needs and objectives and to develop tailored solutions.
- Leading in-person client meetings and developing strong, long-term client relationships.
- Contributing to the growth and development of the firm by identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in trust and estate law and using this knowledge to provide the best possible advice to clients.
Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate Degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in complex estate planning, asset protection planning, and trusts & estates administration.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong client relationship skills, with the ability to lead in-person client meetings and develop long-term client relationships.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
- A strong motivation to contribute to the growth and development of the firm.
- A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and ethics.
- Admission to the state bar in NY, NJ & CT.
