Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 per year

Based in the Irvine area, we are an international logistics company expanding our sales team. We are seeking an Sales Manager to join our growing team and will be responsible for driving international sales, establishing strategic sales plans, and assisting with the growth of our sales team.

The successful candidate will be an integral part of our company's growth and expansion in international markets, and will be instrumental in fostering and maintaining client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales objectives.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in assigned international territories.
  2. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  3. Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
  4. Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  5. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
  6. Perform research and identify new potential customers and new market opportunities.
  7. Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs.
  8. Liaise with Marketing and Product Development departments to ensure brand consistency.
  9. Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
  10. Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely deliveries and resolve any arising issues.
  11. Continuously maintain and improve knowledge of the technology industry, market trends, and competition.

Qualifications:

  1. Proven work experience as a National sales manager or International sales manager.
  2. Successful experience being a hunter/ prospecting and achieving sales quota.
  3. An ability to understand and analyze sales performance metrics.
  4. Solid customer service attitude with excellent negotiation skills.
  5. Strong communication and team management skills.
  6. Analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  7. Availability to travel as needed.
  8. BSc degree in Sales, Business Administration, or relevant field.
  9. Proficient in MS Office and CRM software.
  10. Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
  11. Proven track record of success in B2B sales, with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  12. 10 years of logistics industry experience is a must.
  13. Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  14. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
  15. Strong business sense and industry expertise.
  16. Excellent mentoring, coaching, and people management skills.
