Level 2 Support Technician . This individual will perform contract, performance, relationship and risk management with IT vendors. If you are looking for a new opportunity to learn and grow professionally then this position is for you!
Level 2 Support Technician Responsibilities:
Install and maintain operating environmentsMonitor these operating environments and responding to issues proactivelyRespond effectively and speedily to any problemsMaintain a professional demeanor with clients and colleaguesProvide training and support to level 1 staff and document knowledge base articlesEnsure operating environments stay safe and secureUpdate any software and hardware where necessaryDocument all reported malfunctions and actions taken in response
Level 2 Support Technician Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareExtremely organized with great attention to detailSelf-motivated and works well independently and as part of a teamKnowledge of current networking protocols and standardsHands-on experience in troubleshooting connectivity issuesKnowledge of network technologies and topologies, TCP/IP based routing and switching, firewalls, and IDS/IPSWorking knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS and AzureExtensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.Ticket or support software (such as ServiceNow)Linux and Windows-based servers, VMWare and associated hardwareOffice 365, SharePoint, Citrix Certifications such as a Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization (CCP-V), or Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect (AWS CSA)
