LaSalle Network is currently partnering with a client that specializes in managed IT Services and is looking for an experienced
Level 2 Support Technician
to join their team long term. This person will have the responsibility of developing standard operating procedures for the Level 2 Help Desk Team. This role requires its candidates to have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience within a corporate environment.
Level 2 Support Technician Responsibilities:
Provides guidance in effective problem resolutionDevelops standard operating procedures or best practices for the Level 2 Help Desk teamDiagnoses and resolves highly complex technical problems. Performs root cause analysis and offers recommendations to mitigate future occurrences of the problemsProvides expertise and technical advice to Help Desk team managementServes as a first-line resource for the team for technical related processes, communications and follow-up requestsSuggests methods to improve operations, efficiency and service to their internal and external clientsProvides end-user and local office technical support and uses the ticket management system, troubleshoot issues and outagesParticipates in projects and tasks alongside client's Systems Engineers, Infrastructure Leads and IT ManagersWorks closely with Asset Managers to ensure integrity of asset management systemsWrites technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
Level 2 Support Technician Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline preferred5+ years of related work experience in a corporate environmentProven experience as a Help Desk Lead, System Administrator, Network Administrator or similar roleExperience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN) and patch managementExperience with proactive management systems (Intune, SCCM, AutoPilot, etc.)Experience with Active Directory and Office 365Experience managing hybrid infrastructures (on-premises and cloud)Professional certification (e.g. Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) is a plus
