The Purchasing Manager is responsible for managing the procurement process of goods and services to meet the company's needs at the best possible cost, quality, and delivery, and ensuring compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and evaluating suppliers & subcontractors, negotiating contracts and terms of agreement, and ensuring supplier compliance to contractual requirements at the lowest price without sacrificing quality or delivery time.Collaborate with Estimators and Project Managers to ensure prompt delivery.Check for discrepancies in invoices, inspect materials for shortages, damaged goods, and material quality.Collaborating with the legal department to ensure contract compliance and risk management.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum of 8 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, negotiation, vendor evaluation, contract management in the construction industry.Heavy Civil/Structural experience required.Benefits$140,000-190,000Vacation/PTOMedicalDentalVision401kBonusRelocation for qualified candidatesFor this position you must be currently authorized to work in the United States.
