Cardiac Care Nurse (Nights) , internally referred to as our Cardiac Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) at St Joseph Medical Center a member of Prime Healthcare. The Cardiac Nurse plays a critical role in attending to patients with heart conditions, cardiac issues, and associated illnesses, provide tailored care to enhance recovery and enhance quality of life.Bonus Options:

Up to a $20,000 ( Paid out as stipends every 90 days )Shifts Available:

Registered Nurse

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities, which is crucial for patients recovering from cardiac procedures, heart attacks, or other cardiac conditionsadminister medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs, cardiac medications, and pain management medicationsperform assessments of patients' cardiac status, including physical assessments, review medical histories, and evaluate symptomsprovide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practicesReact promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or respiratory distress, necessitating immediate implementation of emergency procedures, administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and aiding in defibrillation and other crucial life-saving measures

Qualifications:EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAININGcurrent and valid state RN Licensecurrent BLS certificate upon hire and maintain currentBasic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hirecurrent ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain currentprevious Acute Care hospital experience preferredventilator management experience preferredMedical-Surgical Nurse-Board Certified (RN-BC) or similar certification; preferredBachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred#LI-JJ3
