About the Role
The Manager, Sales Engagement & Optimization is a strategic and results-driven leader responsible for scaling MoneyLion's high-impact outbound sales channel. This role requires a visionary who can craft and execute innovative strategies that drive customer engagement and conversion across a variety of financial products. The ideal candidate will excel in creating customer experiences that naturally guide decision-making, leveraging advanced principles of behavioral economics to maximize outcomes.
This New York City-based role requires in-office presence 4 days per week and reports to the Senior Manager of BPO Strategy & Operations.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement an innovative strategy to scale the sales program from thousands to millions in revenue, ensuring alignment with MoneyLion's growth targets. Behavioral Economics & Nudge Theory:
Leverage principles of behavioral economics to design and optimize customer journeys that encourage conversions across a range of financial products. Operational Excellence:
Set ambitious targets, staffing plans, call flows, and operations models to optimize productivity for a high-volume outbound sales team. P&L Management:
Take full ownership of program P&L, driving growth by optimizing margins, maximizing profits, and ensuring cost efficiency, all with a relentless focus on achieving the highest possible ROI. Performance Optimization:
Analyze conversion funnels to identify and implement process improvements, ensuring sustained performance enhancements. Test-and-Learn Culture:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation, data-driven decision-making, and a relentless pursuit of excellence. Stakeholder Management:
Cultivate strategic, mature relationships with internal stakeholders-including executives, marketing, partner solutions, and customer operations teams-as well as external BPO leadership, ensuring seamless collaboration and alignment on key initiatives with professionalism and corporate savvy. Thought Leadership:
Stay ahead of industry trends, particularly in lead generation and behavioral economics, and leverage this knowledge to inform strategy and execution. About You
Proven Track Record:
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in managing data-driven lead generation teams, with a strong preference for BPO experience in financial services marketplaces. Industry Expertise:
Proven experience in leading teams within financial marketplaces with a focus on guiding warm leads to conversions using behavioral insights and nudge techniques. Behavioral Economics & Nudge Theory:
Deep understanding of how to apply these principles to guide customer behavior and drive conversions. Strategic and Tactical Acumen:
Demonstrated ability to balance high-level strategic thinking with the ability to dive into tactical execution when needed. Corporate Maturity:
Strong executive presence with the ability to effectively engage with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. P&L Expertise:
Exceptional financial acumen with a history of managing P&L, focusing on margin optimization, profit maximization, and cost efficiency. Analytical Prowess:
Deep expertise in data and analytics, with the ability to make informed decisions that drive program success. Ownership Mentality:
A self-starter who takes full ownership of outcomes, consistently driving initiatives to completion with minimal oversight. The annual base salary for the Manager, Sales Engagement & Optimization is expected to be between $80,000 to $100,000. Base salary is one component of MoneyLion's total compensation package, which includes, 401(k) match, multiple health insurance options, disability coverage, life insurance, and unlimited paid time off for salaried positions. Actual salaries will vary based on a candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies related to the role.
