Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corp., U.S.A seeks full-time Production Planning Specialist at our Consumer Products manufacturing facility in Lincoln, NE.Responsibilities of Production Planning Specialist:Review daily production schedule to ensure that productions deadlines are met.Work closely and communicate regularly with all areas regarding engineering changes and part shortages.Process and understand daily inventory adjustments; cycle counts, scrap transaction, etc..Track incoming air freight and oceans containers.Work closely with other team members regarding new model builds, incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory cleanup after projects are complete.Problem solving, finding the root cause of issues and actions to make improvements.Creating and maintain spreadsheets.Required Qualifications for Production Planning Specialist:High School degree or GED requiredAt least 2 years of experience in scheduling and/or planning as well as experience in a manufacturing environment preferredMust be proficient with computers, including Excel and Access DatabaseAbility to quickly adapt to changing conditions and solve problems immediatelyMust be comfortable with handling and confirming inventory deliveries and shipments as well as tracking them when lateCapability to work well with others, communicate effectively (both written and verbal), and maintain organization between cross-related departmentsAbility to handle multiple tasks and competing demands, sets priorities, and ensure all issues are addressed while being sensitive to time constraints and resource availabilityPerks for Production Planning Specialist:Great work culture with career growth potentialExcellent benefits package including medical, vision, dental, 401(k), and many morePaid holidays, educational reimbursement, and flexible spending account availableEmployee discount for purchase of company productsCompany fitness center and wellness program availableEducational and relocation reimbursements availableMission:Kawasaki, working as one for the good of the planet We are the Kawasaki Group, a global technology leader with diverse integrated strengths.
