Examples of Work PerformedObserve and screen all waste material receivedWork with machine operator in coordinating areas to dispose waste materialsAssists in repair and/or maintenance of vehicles and equipmentPerform manual labor taskDirect vehicles with unacceptable waste to appropriate disposal facilitiesMaintain area around office clean and free of debrisLoad waste and other debrisPerforms such other duties as may be assigned Education and ExperienceGraduation from high schoolOne (1) year of experience in waste disposal and knowledge in mechanics Bilingual (English and Spanish) with the ability to converse fluently in both languages Certificates, Licenses and Registration:Must have a current valid Texas motor vehicle operator's license Must be able to be insured by the County's insurance carrierThe County of Hidalgo offers a full range of employee benefit programs for eligible employees, retirees, and their families.
