RT&T, a joint venture of InDyne, Inc. and Amentum Services, Inc. is the prime contractor to support the Atlantic Range Technical Support Services (ARTSS) for the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) headquartered in Patuxent River, MD, and with locations in Maryland, Virginia, and California.
ARTSS supports Atlantic Test Ranges (ATR) and Atlantic Targets and Marine Operations (ATMO) in research and development, engineering, maintenance, operation, support of facilities, systems, and equipment in order to meet the engineering development and operational testing and fleet training missions for some of the world's premier systems. Our work with the U.S. Navy keeps the warfighter safe by testing systems before they are used in combat, and we are hiring personnel to support this important mission.
Background Information:
This full-time, onsite position supports the Range Support Branch's Network Architecture Team within the Range Operations Division (ROD) at the Atlantic Test Range (ATR) located at Patuxent River, Maryland. ATR is the Navy's East Coast open air test range and provides real-time flight test operations support including data acquisition services to DoD customers. This position provides network architecture support to all of ATR's classified and unclassified networks. Duties & Responsibility Requirements:
Designs/deploys/monitors/troubleshoots unclassified and classified Range networksFollows and enforces DoD cybersecurity policyConfigures network equipment via command line interface (CLI) and graphical user interface (GUI)Works with a team of network administrators to ensure readiness and real-time support for test eventsProvides phone and onsite support for customer requirements received through the organizational ticket systemNote: This job description describes the general nature of the duties and requirements of the job. Educational, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
BS Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering from an accredited college or universityA minimum of 3 years of work experience performing the stated or similar function.In lieu of a BS Degree, a High School diploma or equivalent GED and 9 years work experience performing the stated or similar function or an Associate's Degree plus 7 years work experience performing the stated or similar function.Security+ or equivalent/higher level cybersecurity certification requiredCCNA, CCNP, and other Cisco or network and security certifications are desiredSpecific experience and/or expertise with Cisco ISE, StealthWatch, DNAC, ASA, Firepower, Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI)/APIC, multicast routing, and Software Defined Access (SDA) desiredExperience in network design and administration, specifically with Cisco equipment (i.e. switches, routers, firewalls, IDPS)Candidate should be a self-starter with an eagerness to learn that may at times need to research solutions independentlyMust be flexible and team orientedSome overtime (including some nights and weekends) and travel will be required to support test flight operationsThe majority of the work is onsite, but some situational telework may be acceptableMust possess a valid driver's license and successfully pass drug screeningClearance Requirements:
Currently hold or be able to obtain and maintain the proper US DoD issued TS security clearance, which requires US Citizenship. Security clearance eligibility may be discussed during the interview phase.Employment and start date is contingent upon the candidate receiving the required US DoD issued interim security clearanceWork Conditions:
Conditions will vary. Most work is performed in enclosed buildings, but some outside work may be required. Work will include sitting, standing, walking, lifting and reaching. Applicant should be capable of lifting 50-100lbs assisted by other employees. Visual abilities needed to perform this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
