Job Description: As an Events Assistant at Malibu Events, you'll play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of a wide range of events, from corporate gatherings to social soires. You'll work closely with our seasoned event planners to ensure every detail is meticulously executed, leaving our clients and attendees with unforgettable experiences.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the logistical planning and coordination of events, including venue selection, vendor management, and timeline development.Provide on-site support during events, overseeing setup, breakdown, and attendee assistance.Assist with marketing and promotional efforts for events, including social media campaigns and email newsletters.Conduct research on industry trends and best practices to enhance event offerings.Handle administrative tasks such as RSVP tracking, budget management, and correspondence with clients and vendors.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Marketing, or related field preferred.Previous experience in event planning, hospitality, or related industry is a plus.Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and event management software.Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.Benefits:
