Electrical Project Manager

Bay Tech Engineering is seeking a Project Manager for public works projects located in the immediate San Francisco Bay Area. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the overall direction, coordination, implementation, and completion of projects. Additionally, you will ensure projects meet time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.Responsibilities:Ability to estimate labor, materials and other requirements for completion of specific jobs; provides written estimates; negotiate change orders when requiredAttend pre-construction and progress meetings as neededReview policies, procedures, regulations, and terms of BTE relative to the day-to-day operation of the projectIdentify, submit and procure materials as neededResponsible for coordinating all activities associated with the timely, accurate, and on-budget completion of projectsResponsible for effective and timely communication with prime contractors and stakeholders, including change orders, on-site visits, etc.Keep accurate files and records of project status and activitiesReview job costs for accuracy and completeness, including the preparation of invoices, change orders, etc.Maintain awareness regarding potential claims, back charges, or large costs that may affect project completion and/or project profitabilitySkills & Qualifications:5± years experience working in the electrical/construction industryAbility to review and interpret construction documentsStrong technical understanding of materials and methods used in the installation of electrical related equipmentProficient in the Microsoft Office SuiteProcess and apply a broad knowledge of principles, practices and procedures to the completion of difficult tasksExcellent interpersonal skills, effective oral and written communication skillsValid CA drivers license and DMV record that meets BTE driving standardsPossess the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessaryBe self-motivated, proactive and an effective team playerBe able to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, both management and staff alike, vendors, clients, and othersAbout us:Bay Tech Engineering, Inc. is a locally owned company specializing mainly in public works prevailing wage projects since 2015.
