Trial Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Trial Attorney to join its Liability Group in Tampa, FL. This position offers the opportunity to lead auto negligence and premises liability cases from initiation through trial. The ideal candidate will have substantial trial experience and will manage a team of associates and staff while serving as the primary point of contact for clients. This role is perfect for attorneys looking to contribute to a high-performing legal team in a collaborative environment.Duties:Serve as lead counsel in auto negligence and premises liability trials.Oversee case management from inception through discovery and trial preparation.Ensure client expectations are met and deliver strategic legal advice.Assign and manage expert witnesses for trial preparation.Supervise and mentor associates and support staff on assigned cases.Engage in firm leadership and decision-making processes as necessary.Requirements:Minimum of 4-10 years of trial experience, ideally in insurance defense.Extensive knowledge of auto negligence and premises liability cases.Strong leadership and team management skills.Ability to effectively communicate with clients and manage client relationships.A proven track record of trial success in high-stakes cases.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed to practice law in Florida.Skills:Strong trial advocacy and litigation skills.Excellent organizational and case management capabilities.Effective communication and leadership abilities.Proven ability to oversee a team of legal professionals.Location:
