What You'll Do:

Work collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record systemConduct exams and write evaluations and reportsOrder and interpret diagnostic testingManage medicationMake referrals for specialized care or treatmentPerform duties in accordance with scope of practice, ODRC policies, procedures, protocols, and related American Correctional Association standardsParticipate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviewsProvide or share responsibilities of institutional 24-hour on-call as needed (provision of on-call services are included as part of the normal job duties and do not garner extra compensation)Engage in collaborative agreements, as neededBenefits of working for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction include:

Qualifications

Certificate to practice medicine in state of Ohio as issued by State Medical Board pursuant to Section 4731.14 & 4731.281 of Revised Code.
