ABOUT THE JOB:

The primary role of the Product Specialist - Cooking is to facilitate shared growth of assigned Electrolux Professional Group product lines in the market. To fulfill the role, the individual must understand and maintain a high level of knowledge with respect to products, end user needs, product applications, competitors, sales channels, and pricing. In addition, the individual will serve as the technical expert able to provide guidance on product operation, features and benefits.

This role is part of the product management team; however, the individual must work closely with sales, marketing, customer care, operations, and other groups to accomplish their goals. Finally, the Product Specialist engages end users, dealers, consultants, and influencers throughout the market. As such, the professionalism of this individual is of the utmost importance as they are a key representative of the Electrolux Professional Group.

Responsibilities

ABOUT YOUR TASKS: Understand and communicate product details, application, and benefits of Electrolux Professional Group products to a diverse audience. Work closely with sales and marketing teams to create and conduct product training sessions to grow sales and income. Assist sales/customers with current opportunities by understanding customer needs, providing product expertise and recommendations. Serve as a subject matter expert to the field for cooking equipment questions. Maintain roadmap for assigned products to ensure portfolio vitality and alignment with marketplace trends and customer needs. Actively participate in trainings, meetings, customer visits, tradeshows, and other industry events. Work cross-functionally with internal resources (customer service, product management, marketing, design engineering, service, etc.) to find solutions to customers' needs and win their business. Develop and maintain relationships with end users, consultants, key dealers, etc. Manage product lifecycle activities to support overall portfolio strategy and performance. ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES:

Work with Engineering, Sales and Service teams to implement field test sites for new products. Help develop and execute trade show plans including equipment selection and ordering. Develop continuing education unit (CEU) content for foodservice consultants Maintain accurate documentation (spec sheets, manuals, online references, etc.) for assigned products Manage creation and setup of SKUs for new product introductions Support activities involving customer satisfaction including working with the service team to proactively track issues. Monitor competitive actions in the market and maintain comparisons for assigned products (new products, pricing, promotions, etc.). Identify any barriers to growth and recruit help within the organization to address them. Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is required. Bachelor's degree preferred with emphasis on Business, Marketing, Finance, Engineering or Economics. 3-5 years minimum food service experience preferred. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position is remote from anywhere in the US. Frequent travel- approximately 25%
