Job Purpose:

The Computer Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing technical, systems and network administration support across various platforms for Department of Defense (DoD) client.

Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure and maintain operating systems, servers, and automation devices to support operations.Create, maintain and manage user accounts across NIPR/SIPR and other classified/unclassified networks.Perform regular backups, archiving, and restoration of critical data, ensuring data integrity and availability.Maintain and operate technologies associated with a digital classroom and distance learning.Ensure collaborative systems such as instructor podium software, audio visual equipment, ethernet switches, interactive monitors, and student laptops.Develop applications and integrate assigned or directed curriculum with Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) and/or other designated LMS.Maintain all courses on JKO/LMS and incorporate curriculum changes/updates.Develop SharePoint intranet portal to allow for sharing of documents and other materials.Implement and monitor security procedures to ensure compliance with encryption requirements and secure network environments.All other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Experience:

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field from an accredited college or university.CompTIA Security+ Certification.Minimum of four years related experience in an IT support role with 100+ users and technical expertise within systems administration.Experience with the following:

Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.Updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.Working as a SharePoint developer.Experience with Web development: HTML, CSS, SQL.Experience in client management particularly in the areas of data flow andmigration.Reviewing website interface and software stability.

Current US Government SECRET security clearance.Willingness to work on-site in the Fayetteville, NC area.Preferred Skills/Experience:

Experience in a defense contracting or military training environment.This is a customer-facing position representing FRDA to client employees.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills are a must.Highly motivated, self-starter with demonstrated ability to spot new opportunities, and spearhead new initiatives.A friendly and collaborative attitude; ability to work well independently and in groups with minimal supervision; ability to navigate ambiguity, embrace client oversight at all levels, and balance competing demands.
