Computer Systems Analysts
to join our team primarily supporting a United States Department of Defense customer at Pope Army Airfield, NC. The Computer Systems Analyst will be responsible for providing technical, systems, and network administration support across a variety of platforms. The role includes managing data link training systems, maintaining secure network environments, and supporting both classroom and distance learning technologies.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
ResponsibilitiesInstall, configure, and maintain operating systems, servers, and automation devices to support operationsCreate, maintain, and manage user accounts across NIPR/SIPR and other classified/unclassified networksPerform regular backups, archiving, and restoration of critical data, ensuring data integrity and availabilityProvide setup, configuration, and support for classroom and distance learning systems, including instructor podium software, AV equipment, interactive monitors, and student laptopsManage the Learning Management System (LMS) and SharePoint solutions, ensuring that course materials and curriculum updates are accessible and properly integratedImplement and monitor security procedures, ensuring compliance with encryption requirements and maintaining secure network environmentsAssist in the development and integration of curriculum content with Joint Knowledge Online (JKO) and other learning management platformsRequired Qualifications4 or more years of related experience in an IT support organization with 100+ users and technical experience within systems administration.Experience with maintaining computer networks and systems including software, mainframes, VPNs, routers, and other physical hardware.Experience with installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.Experience updating virus protection software to keep data and communications protected.Experience with fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on-demand or from inspection of the systems.Prior experience working as a SharePoint developer.Experience with Web development: HTML, CSS, SQL.Experience with Problem-management and critical and strategic thinking abilities.Experience in client management, particularly in the areas of data flow and migration.Reviewing website interface and software stability.Preferred QualificationsExperience in a defense contracting or military training environmentKnowledge of Tactical Data Link (TDL) systems or Joint Interface Control Officer (JICO) operationsCompany OverviewEstablished in 2008, Telum Protection Corporation (Telum) is a certified SDVOSB dedicated to delivering high quality training, personnel support, and management service solutions to U.S. Government customers within the Special Operations and Intelligence communities.
