Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and improve a robust, reliable, and secure wired and wireless network infrastructure and/orManage and improve a robust, reliable, and secure hybrid data center infrastructureManage SAN and virtual environmentsDesign and implement integration of existing and new Manufacturing, Automation Supply Chain, and Operations Technology solutions & servicesIdentify, propose, design, and deliver solutions that enable optimal user experience of network and data center capabilities to improve work efficiency, which can include leveraging cloud infrastructure services in alignment with Rentschler Global ITAdhere to and perform all work under Rentschler IT Project Management policies and proceduresDocument all work procedures information in the Rentschler IT knowledge repositoryPerform ongoing management and maintenance of the network and data center infrastructure locally and globally, in partnership with global IT team membersIdentify and mitigate cyber security risks to network and data center infrastructure locally and globally, in partnership with global IT team membersActively contribute to the completion of local and global IT and corporate projects, including ones outside of core IT network and data center infrastructure, to ensure delivery of highly reliable IT servicesParticipate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer related field or equivalent experienceIdeally 3-5 years of technical networking and/or data center experienceCompleted studies or certification in network engineering such as CCNP, CCNA or CCIE; VMware Certified and/or Extreme Network certifications preferredIdeally experience in one or more of the following areas requiredExperience working with Cisco or Extreme Networks wired and WiFi technologiesExperience working with Cloud Environments; Azure & Extreme Network Cloud MgmtExperience working with Microsoft Windows and VMWare server technologies requiredPreferred Qualifications

Completed studies or certification in network engineering such as CCNP, CCNA or CCIE; VMware Certified and/or Extreme Network certifications preferredExperience with ITIL or other IT service management frameworks is preferred.Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals).Strong documentation skills are a must
