QA Data Tester

Job Title: QA Data TesterJob Summary:We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented QA Data Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our data systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and execute test plans, validate data, and troubleshoot issues to maintain high standards of data quality.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for data quality assurance.Validate data across various platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability.Perform data profiling, data validation, and data reconciliation to identify discrepancies.Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure quality standards are met.Automate testing processes where possible to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Report, track, and manage defects using a test management tool, ensuring timely resolution.Conduct regression testing and performance testing to assess system stability and scalability.Document testing processes, results, and methodologies for future reference and compliance.Provide feedback to improve data management practices and overall data governance.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Proven experience as a QA Tester, Data Analyst, or similar role.Strong knowledge of data testing methodologies and tools (e.g., Oracle, SQL, NoSQL, ETL processes) is MUST.Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).Experience with test automation tools is a plus (e.g., Selenium, QTP).Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus.
