ABOUT THE POSITION
JOB SUMMARY:
The Clark County Water Reclamation District is seeking qualified candidates to apply for the Systems Technician I/II position. This position will be responsible for:
Using ITIL Framework or similar, proficiency in the Service Desk, along with Incident, Request Fulfillment and Knowledge Base processes.Familiarity to Service Management Platform and proficiency in performing service management tasks.Managing technology inventory effectively; Performing configuration and maintenance of end user devices throughout the full asset lifecycle phases (Plan, Request, Procure, Receipt, Manage, and Retire).Handling the processes related to both employees and technology onboarding and offboarding.Providing valuable input in selecting, procuring, installing, and maintaining hardware and software; Deploying hardware and software, patch client OS and third-party applications, and managing the configuration and supporting end user devices.Providing support to project tasks by collaboration with the Application Development and Infrastructure teams.Supporting the cybersecurity posture based on established policies and procedures and implementing on end-user devices, including investigating and mitigating/eliminating threats and/or risks.Systems Technician I: $28.11 - $43.55 HourlySystems Technician II: $30.32 - $47.03 Hourly

Education and Experience:
Systems Technician I - Equivalent to two (2) years of college level course work in computer science, information systems or a field related to the work AND two (2) years of full-time experience in installing and troubleshooting personal computer hardware and software.
Systems Technician II - In addition to the above, one (1) year of full-time experience in installing and troubleshooting personal computer and network hardware and software. Possession of a four-year degree in an appropriate field is desirable.

Licensing and Certification:
Specified positions may require possession of a valid Nevada Class C Driver's License at time of appointment.
