Define your own future with Allvue Systems!Responsibilities:Provide DBA support across all environments (from Development through Production) to meet the needs of internal and external customers.Troubleshoot urgent production database escalations.Assist with the vision, design, deployment, and support of our database infrastructure and operations.Architect our database infrastructure to ensure reliable, robust, and secure infrastructure to support current and expected business growth.Ensure appropriate technology and security controls are designed and implemented to meet customer, compliance, and regulatory requirements, and optimize database platforms for cost, speed of delivery, and target performance.Help define company-wide database standards and best practices.Develop opportunities for cross-team effectiveness and remove organizational barriers for strong teamwork.Define and implement critical KPIs/OKRs, SLAs, and metrics necessary to manage and monitor the performance of overall operations, and manage incident, problem, and change management.Qualifications:
3+ years experience as a Microsoft SQL Server Database AdministratorExperience with supporting SQL Server Always On Availability Groups.Experience with performance troubleshooting and monitoring within Production environments using High Availability solutions.Experience with Windows Server platforms in relation to SQL installations and upgrades.Experience with the implementation and maintenance of SQL Server including security, backup/restoration, logging, reporting and recovery procedures.Ability to tune queries to improve database performance.Ability to develop stored procedures, views, functions, tables, jobs, DML scripts, security enhancements, other scripts.Excellent communication skills to maintain cohesiveness globally across all our teams.Self-motivation to pick up new work and assist with tickets and able to work with minimum supervision.Collaborative team player with a positive attitude to achieve initiatives together as team.High attention to detail, thorough in validating work to ensure successful deployments.Ability to organize and prioritize work and meet deadlines.Knowledge of agile/scrum processes.Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-moving environment.Document work effectively and coherently in user stories and tickets, so that work can be passed between team members where needed. Additionally create knowledgebase articles for technical documentation.Education/Certifications:

This person will join a small, experienced database team working in a fast-paced environment for a great company where your opinion and experience matters. We have both AWS and Azure production OLTP and DW BI databases that need to be maintained to keep our clients satisfied, as well as hundreds of development databases that need attention on a case-by-case basis. We have various SQL Server versions from 2014 to 2022.
