Classification Title:Finance Implementation Team Analyst

Job Description:The Finance Implementation Team Analyst collaborates across the enterprise and with peer institutions to help identify Workday reporting functionalities to meet business requirements in keeping with industry best practice. Develops a strong understanding of the wide variety of activities and needs, identifies commonalities and exceptions, and assists in identifying and implementing solutions that address the comprehensive needs of the research enterprise.

This position performs needs assessment, gap analysis, and documents business requirements, in support of continued optimization of reporting for central post award and departmental research administration. Documents current and future state maps, reporting requirements, system configurations and other relevant information. Assists in translating functional business requirements into reporting and technical design decisions.

The incumbent participates in end user and other stakeholder engagement and coordinates user acceptance testing. Assists in training end users and developing end user training materials. Supports end users immediately after system go-live.

Expected Salary:$75,000 - $85,000

Minimum Requirements:A bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization and four years of appropriate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:This position must be proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with a large-scale ERP implementation (e.g., Workday) is strongly preferred.

Experience designing reporting, dashboards, and other data analysis solutionDemonstrated understanding of research administration and financial processesFamiliarity with relational database principles and queryingStrong data literacy, analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including training facilitation experienceDetail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality results within established timelinesAbility to work independently, manage priorities, and meet project deadlinesActs as a change agent to identify and champion process improvement
