JOB DESCRIPTION
Seeking a highly motivated, driven, and talented
Web Application System Administrator (Windows/Unix)
to work
Onsite 1-2 Days Per Week
supporting our War-fighter customer who upholds America's status as the "Land of the Free" every day, at work, or at play.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide technical support for application software running on serversPerform installation, integration, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, security implementation, documentation, and configuration management of websites and application systems hosted on Windows and Unix-based serversTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to server and software issuesProvide direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal and external teamsFollow and implement client's Information Security's standards to ensure the software and server environment is secure and protected from unauthorized accessOther duties as assigned or requiredREQUIREMENTS
4+ years of experience in Unix & Windows web/systems administrationExperience working with Windows Servers 2016/2019, Internet Information Services (IIS), and Red Hat Linux (Apache - Open Source) servers containing over 200 production applications: Cloud & on-prem, Unclass/Class networks, and supporting public-facing websites using serverless solutionsInstallation/configuration of web and application server softwareTroubleshooting of server/software issuesKnowledge of DISA STIGS and Security PoliciesADDITIONAL REQUIRED CERTIFICATION(s)
CompTIA Security+SECURITY CLEARANCE
Active Secret with ability to obtain TS/SSBIEDUCATION
High School Diploma with an additional 4+ years of related experience
