We are seeking a Digital Product Owner that will be responsible for product ownership of key client and financial professional facing capabilities, enabled via Cetera's digital platform AdviceWorks®. This role owns user story and requirements documentation and solution design and execution for different features and functionality and will help drive the product strategy/roadmap in collaboration with product managers and business partners.

We are looking to hire a candidate that will have the option to work a Hybrid schedule from one of our Hub offices; El Segundo, CA; San Diego, CA; Denver, Colorado; or Schaumburg, IL, Dallas Texas, Des Monies IA, St. Paul MN or St. Cloud MN.

What you will do:Collaborate with financial professionals, members of their teams, internal business partners, and end-clients to co-operatively design new features/enhancements. This involves defining and ongoing management and refinement of the features in their teams' backlog (enhancement requests and strategic roadmap items).Partner with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to analyze, understand, and document solutions (features), that best address the needs of their stakeholders.Gather and document requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria.Construct user journey maps/flows, process flows, and other supporting visual and requirements documentation.Conduct market, competitive, and user research to inform the product strategy and roadmap. Research helps this role determine the requirements needed for solutions.Assist in the management of product roadmaps by prioritizing decisions based on business urgency, user feedback, and consumer and market needs.Partner with program/project management, user experience, development, and testing teams to execute and deliver against shared business objectives and delivery milestones.Drive awareness and promote the usage of digital solutions by presenting and/or showcasing their value and benefits internally within the company, at conferences and events, and/or with prospective financial advisors/institutions.Test features once developed and before go-to-market activities. Own the lifecycle of solutions after deployment.Provide content to internal partners in order to support training & education, marketing/communications, go-to-market activities, and ongoing support related activities.Other duties as assigned.What you will need to have:

Ability to use data and insight to understand the marketplace, customer needs (end-consumer and financial professional), and competitor offerings.Ability to engage, collaborate, and engender trust with other teams (including user-experience and development teams), within a matrixed environment.Ability to use a lean/design thinking/user centered design approach to product vision, design, and roadmap management.Ability to understand technical subject matter and make informed decisions/trade-offs in partnership with application development and engineering teams.Knowledge and understanding of technology trends with the ability to understand how to take advantage of them from a product roadmap and innovation perspective.Ability to manage multiple priorities at once while working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Ability to work on sensitive initiatives, showing discretion while helping drive projects forward.Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Experience with bank and credit union investment advisory programs.Ability to build or enhance a digital platform that integrates disparate applications to create a seamless experience for the end user.Ability to synthesize data and information into recommendations and then drive the execution based on those recommendations.Exceptional communication and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to executives, facilitating discussions with end-clients and/or groups of financial professionals, etc.Minimum Required Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of experience in digital product management and/or related experience with financial advisor and/or consumer facing products/solutions.Financial Services experience required and other vertical industries a nice to have.Experience leading/influencing people and/or distributed teams.Compensation:

The salary range for this role is $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 plus competitive performance-based bonus. Compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific office location. Compensation ranges may differ in differing locations due to cost of labor considerations.
