The IT Application Developer II will design, develop, manage, and maintain Microsoft .NET/SQL and SharePoint based applications for the agency and contributes to other software development needs on various platforms.

The IT Application Developer II will:

Provide support for internal and external stakeholders related to the business needs of the applications. This includes resolving support requests and logging resolutions;Work with team members both inside and outside of IT to resolve issues and plan changes for the applications;Ensure that code and jobs conform to security standards and conform with access requirements of the different systems and;Share expertise as needed with other parts of the organization.How does it get done?

The IT Application Developer II is responsible for:

The design, development, maintenance, operations, management, and enhancement of HCA various in-house applications that utilize, C#.Net and SQL server as well as various SharePoint environments;Other development platforms such a salesforce and Java;Customizing pages using REST calls, jQuery, and JavaScript;Active Directory Integration for authentication and;SQL server Reporting Services, Analysis Services, and Integration Services.Who are the customers?

The Health Care Authority staff, contractors, and clients.Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate has:

Four (4) years or more experience with SharePoint, C#.Net, and various SQL aspects as outlined in the job description;Experience with Salesforce, Java, and other development technologies;Knowledge of SharePoint 2013 through SharePoint on M365;Expertise in C#.Net, using .Net 4.5 ¿ 4.7, Model-View-Controller (MVC), entity, and HTML and;Expertise in SQL processes not limited to; stored Procedures, transact-SQLz, performing backups, reading log files, managing stored procedures, and experience with ETLs.

Minimum Qualification

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Information Technology, Engineering or similar technical degree and two (2) years of experience in software programming. Substitutions Apply. See Substitution Table below.

Employment Requirements

Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.

Must obtain a Defensive Driving Certificate.

Employment is subject to a pre-employment criminal history background investigation and is conditional pending results.

Working Conditions

Office setting. Long periods of sitting and continuous use of monitor and keyboard. Stress due to deadlines and workload. Occasional overnight travel, work after hours, weekends and/or holidays may be required; Occasionally variable work schedule.
