On-site position located at Ruan Center downtown Des Moines, IA.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM and on-call rotation.

This IT Technician supports our Hardware Team: mobile applications, mobile device management, and Tier 2 and 3 level support

1-3 years of experience is required

Ability to manage the daily workloads and to meet future order requirements by configuring, installing and managing inventory of IT end user equipment. This may include onboard computers, desktops, laptops, printers, smart phones, faxes, tablets for the enterprise and field users. Participate in on-call rotation for critical support escalation outside of core hours.

Responsibilities:Configure, build, install equipment, applications and or software for end users. May include in-vehicle wiring and docking solutions. Includes accurate and timely inventory management of devices, parts and accessories. Ability to proactively anticipate user's need.Research, diagnose and apply correct resolution of IT equipment malfunctions. Troubleshoot and or repair computer systems, onboard computers and peripheral equipment located throughout the company. Including the distribution and functioning of installed computer programs and applications. Perform maintenance tasks as needed.Deliver a high level of customer service to end users while anticipating user needs. Works closely with service providers and equipment vendors with their installed service or product. Implement approved services and settings to meet business and safety requirements.Prepare operational and procedural documentation and performance reports. Ensure performance and availability goals are attained.Ensure compliance with applicable licensing agreements.Prepares and monitors department KPIs. Promotes continuous improvement and uses trends to determine preventative measures.Analyze tools used in the role, equipment and software options to make recommendations based on operational needs.Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required.Education: Associate, Vocational, or Technical Degree or equivalent work experience in Information Technology or related discipline. Completion of Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) preferred.

Experience: 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft products and operating systems.

Employee should have demonstrated ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions. Excellent interpersonal skills are necessary. Ability to work under limited time constraints. Ability to set priorities and accomplish duties of position with supervision and direction.
