Summary:
The Information Technology intern will participate in learning and understanding of the hardware, software, and communications system support for New Vision Co-op staff at all locations. Assist in installing, cleaning and maintain hardware, monitors, printers and display screens.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists with computer hardware and software support and training for users.Assists with computer and telecommunications hardware and software systems at all New Vision Co-op locations, including servers, peripherals, network equipment, workstations, and other computer and network equipment as directed.Assists with mobile devices and applications.Assists in evaluating system hardware and software requirements and capabilities.Assist in the maintenance documentation of network configurations and cabling layouts.Assists with technology problem solving.Performs other duties as assigned.Requirements
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).Some post-secondary education in Information Technology related degree preferred.Advanced computer skills required.Must be self-motivated and able to work as a team memberValid driver's license.
