Summary:

ValidaTek is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Procurement Desktop Defense (PD2) SME to join the DISA JSP PCS procurement team. The PD2 SME will be responsible for providing technical and functional support for the PD2 procurement system, ensuring its effective and efficient use in procurement processes, as well as maintaining and enhancing its capabilities. The ideal candidate should possess a deep understanding of PD2 and have the ability to provide expertise in the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of the system. Responsibilities: Provide technical and functional support for the PD2 procurement system Develop, implement and maintain PD2-related policies, procedures and documentation Work closely with procurement team members to analyze business requirements and provide recommendations for system enhancements Assist with configuring and maintaining the PD2 system, including system upgrades and patches Troubleshoot issues with the PD2 system and provide timely and effective resolution Conduct training and provide technical guidance to PD2 system users Participate in cross-functional teams to design and implement PD2 system enhancements and integration with other systems Stay up-to-date on PD2 system updates and changes, and provide recommendations for changes to procurement processes Qualifications:

Active DoD Secret Clearance Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience working with PD2 system administration, configuration and maintenance Obtain/possess certifications for PD2 and PD2 adapter Experience in managing the PD2 software vSR16 or higher and Sybase ASE 16 or higher Knowledge of application management on Windows Server 2012 or higher and Windows 10 or higher operating system environments In-depth knowledge of procurement processes and procedures, and how they are supported by the PD2 system Experience in conducting system testing and troubleshooting issues Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with various stakeholders Ability to analyze and solve complex problems Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies is a plus

Salary Disclosure: Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location, contract affordability, internal equity, education, and certifications.

The upper end of the salary range may be reserved for individuals who have demonstrated tenure with the company, seniority, and proven excellent performance. This includes factors such as education, certifications, and extensive/unique experience beyond what is required.
