Founded in 2010, EPC Power is headquartered in San Diego County, California and has become the premier utility-scale inverter manufacturer in North America. The company continues to expand rapidly, with major multinational corporations' brand-labeling its products. We are seeking a successful candidate to fill the available full-time Information Technology (IT) Analyst position.

The IT Analyst will provide front-line primary technical support to end users on various technical issues and problems relating to hardware, software, and peripherals. They will also be responsible for responding to, documenting, and resolving service requests in a timely manner according to EPC's best practices. The IT Analyst must have excellent problem-solving skills to diagnose, evaluate and resolve complex problem situations, or when appropriate, escalate or route them to appropriate IT staff members.

The IT Analyst will also perform root cause analysis, develop checklists for typical problems and recommend procedures and controls for problem prevention. This position will support multiple platforms including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and videoconferencing equipment. This position may require independent work, sharing information and assisting others with work orders. This position reports to the Information Technology Manager.

Duties

•Maintain, analyze, and fix computer systems, software, hardware, printers, and computer peripherals

•Coordinate hardware repairs with the appropriate vendors and team members

•Provide support on a variety of computer hardware and software issues by identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems

•Ensures the integrity of all electronic data records by following company quality standards

•Track equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases

•Own and execute technology implementation projects

•Communicate regularly and effectively with support requestors

•Provide exceptional technical support in person, phone, and email as appropriate

•Perform user administration duties

Education/Experience

An associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with at least two years of experience in a similar role, or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

•Remote Desktop support

•Azure Active Directory

•Advanced printer / peripheral device troubleshooting

•TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP

•Remote support for handheld smartphones and tablets

Salary Description

$40,000 - $70,000
