Posting Context Statement
The Technology Integration Specialist reports directly to the Director of Academic Technology within the Office of Information Technology (OIT) and provides direct support for the use of technology in education to achieve the university's academic mission.
Position Overview
The Technology Integration Specialist assists in implementing and supporting academic technology initiatives to advance teaching and learning of in-person, hybrid, and online modalities across the university. The position is expected to work across instructional units, supporting all colleges, and collaborate with the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), the Center for Disability Access and Resources (CDAR), Employee Development and Learning (EDL), and the Library to provide cohesive support for faculty.

Position Qualifications
Required Experience
Four years in an information technology role, directly providing technical support to customersA Bachelor's Degree in Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Computer Science may substitute for the above experienceOne year developing and delivering training sessions, workshops and/or professional development programsEstablishing and maintaining working relationships with students, faculty and/or staffTranslating complex technical concepts into clear language for general audiencesRequired Education
High School Diploma or equivalentRequired Other
NoneAdditional Preferred
Bachelor's Degree, Masters or Terminal Degree preferredTeaching experience in a K-12 or higher education settingExperience with instructional coaching or technology integration in an academic settingPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions
