Oak Hall School is seeking a Technology Integration Specialist, with an anticipated start date of January, 2025. This Specialist willprovideconsultation,leadership, and support for teachers in the Lower, Middle, and Upper schools, coordinating projects and initiatives related to digital learning andinnovation, and will provide leadership relating to school-wide systems integration and synchronization, and in technology-based academic programs.Essential Functions:Support and advance the mission of Oak Hall SchoolUnder the direction of the Director of Teaching & Learning, work to ensure Oak Hall School excels in digital and innovative learning practices, preparing students with cutting edge skillsets and competencies.Under the direction of the Director of Teaching & Learning, lead the school wide initiatives to facilitate data-driven decision-making to determine faculty and student device selection, classroom instructional needs, and overall school learning needs.Under the direction of the Director of Teaching & Learning, develop digital learning standards and curriculum resourcesPartner with the Director of Teaching & Learning and the Director of Human Resources & Legal Compliance on technology needs in onboarding new faculty and staffWork collaboratively with the IT department and Director of Teaching and Learning to plan and execute whole school technology-based projects that advance the mission of Oak Hall SchoolWork collaboratively the Director of Technology, administrators, faculty, staff, and students from Preschool to 12th Grade and their families to initiative and oversee digital and learning practices and to plan and execute whole school technology-based projects that advance the mission of Oak Hall School. This will include providing support in the integration of a new SIS across all divisions.Work collaboratively with the Director of Learning Support to assist teachers in accessing a variety of digital tools to more effectively differentiate instruction and accommodate the needs of studentsCollaborate with teachers in planning for the use and infusion of digital tools and current learning practices into the instructional programCo-teach with teachers, coaching and modeling effective teaching practices that leverage the use of digital toolsResearch and remain informed of current, new, and emerging technologies and their potential applications ineducationCoordinate trainings for all new and current students on all educational technology needs. This may include trainings offered during Foundations or orientation at the start of the school yearCreate learning resources and training materials for teachers, families, students, and staff. These may include websites, tutorials, interactive guides, and programs that support teachers in integrating technology.Plan and deliver professional development workshops and trainings for faculty in educational skills, applications, and best practicesEnsure that systems are synchronized and/or compatible with other technologies that the school utilizes, and make recommendations for system changes or adaptations, as needed, to ensure compatibility with school needs across all divisionsEngage in performance testing of new technology to determine if application is compatible with existing systems, and school needsChampion and showcase educational technology projectsBe a role model of integrity and professionalismWork positively and professionally with all constituencies of the schoolMeet regular and predictable attendance requirements, including attending division and other school meetings, graduation, professional days, Late Starts, and other required eventsAdhere to School policies as described in the Employee Handbook and other materialsOther duties as assignedQualifications

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Education or technology-related field, requiredExtensive knowledge, experience, and successful implementation of instructional technology in a school setting, requiredA minimum of 5 years of experience in a teaching position, in an educational technology position, or a combination thereof or related roleStrong knowledge of educational technology learning resources with evidence of effective practices for teaching and learningA team player with a creative and inclusive approach to problem solvingStrong presentation skillsAbility to plan, organize, and execute projectsDemonstrated organizational and management abilitiesA high degree of professionalism, collegiality, and personal conduct, both in and outside of schoolAbility, willingness, and judgment to communicate thoroughly, accurately, and concisely with all constituents in the school communityEnthusiasm and commitment to the vision and mission of the SchoolPhysical Requirements and Work Environment:
