QA Analyst, $70,000 - $80,000 yearly
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Remote

R+L Carriers is expanding its Information Technology Department and has immediate openings for Software Quality Assurance Analysts with expertise in manual and automated software testing. Successful candidates will work within the Information Technology Department producing, maintaining, and executing test plans and test cases for world-class enterprise software applications in support of R+L's leadership in the transportation & logistics industry. The candidates will be key members of an interdisciplinary team supporting the company's enterprise software development initiatives working with business stakeholders to understand real world business requirements and to design and develop related enterprise level solutions.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview specifications and work with business and technical team to determine testable requirementsParticipate in software design reviews to provide input and identify potential problemsDetermine the most efficient testing approach based on the potential risk and impact of the change, while ensuring appropriate testing coverageDevelop, document and maintain test plans, test cases, and other testing artifactsPerform applications and integration testing involving Tibco, .Net applications, web services, and Oracle databases.Isolate, replicate and report defects and verify defect fixesQualifications
Expertise with testing web applications and servicesExpertise with Oracle databases with the ability to write SQL queriesStrong analytical skills and attention to detailsStrong verbal and written communication skillsExperience with developing testing plans.Must be able to work in a team environment.Must have the flexibility to handle multiple tasks at the same time.Experience in the Transportation / Logistics is a plusExperience with Automated Testing is a plusExperience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plusBachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
