Skills: Peoplesoft Financial functional knowledgable Product Owner with knowledge in Sourcing and Procurement and Supplier management.
Should be local to Pleasanton, CA or surrounding areas only as the associate must attend in-person
meeting at least 1 day in a week .The Position is responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of a product or product line.This role spans many types of activities, from strategic to tactical. The position provides cross-functional leadership and bridges organizational gaps between different functional groups, most often between project, product, shared services testing and release management, and SaaS vendors.What youll doCommunicate product vision, roadmap and progress internal cross-functional stakeholders.Serve as the voice of the customer and the business and possess a fundamental understanding of end-to-end experience.Lead planning of product releases and set expectations for delivery of new featuresPrioritize product features and requirements backlogs compromising both the business needs and technical readiness.Define and lead continuous improvement of features and/or productsLead and obtain strategic buy-in from internal and external stakeholdersCommunicate key messages and engage with many diverse functional stakeholders through the product lifecycleCreate product strategy and business requirement for new features or productsActively seek customer and market input and data as a source of product innovationAct as the SME during initial roll-out and provide support when neededAbility to participate in technical discussions and help make design trade-offs.Identify both business and technical impediments and drive for product development.Guide technology platform owner in managing agile user stories with clear acceptance criteria for the development team s execution.Work closely with functional business callers/owners to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and priority.Support functional opportunities or initiatives and dive as MVPs (Min. viable product) for a unified coherent technology and customer experience.Liaise and negotiate with IT SaaS vendors on all product-related issues.These are Business and IT Executive facing roles working directly with the product and services departments.Excellent verbal and written communication with proven ability to prepare executive level presentations is a minimum requirement.
