Position Purpose
Supply Chain Warehouse Replenishment technology team is looking for a product owner you will own that would be the product strategy, define product features and its priority, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product. You will be the main interface with our customers within the Supply Chain Procurement line of business This is a dynamic role for someone who is a strategic thinker and can turn planning into great product experiences.
Key Responsibilities
(include, but are not limited to):Lead the transformation of warehouse procurement systems at Albertsons from legacy to next generation cloud hosted technology solutions.Continuously improve product offerings and launch product features through a deep understanding of Procurement business needs.Create and maintain the product roadmap, strategy, inclusive of cost, investment, and overall benefit realization that is in-line with business long-term goals and objectivesProvide strategic leadership to the team by creating the overall strategic vision for the product by prioritizing and focusing on the highest value opportunities; Deliver business impact through a variety of metrics, including product adoption, expansion conversion and usage.Identify market need, interfacing with internal and external customers to define the scope; Oversee competitive research and technology assessmentsWork with Product marketing to drive awareness and adoption of the ProductWork with support and technical teams to identify operational and non-functional requirements Oversee product administration, grooming, priority, translation to technical/design specifications and lifecycle management of all applications within product line. Final authority on product requirements.Analyze business processes, fit-gap analysis, in-efficiencies, and risks to determine appropriate process and system design by working with product analysts as needed.Ensure proper test coverage. Oversee the planning and execution of User Acceptance TestingConduct product training and contribute to end user training materials and proceduresEvaluate vendor products/solutions to determine if they meet business and technical needs.Experience:
10+ years of Product Management experience in leading cross-functional software projects.10+ years of experience in Retail and Supply Chain domain is a must.Mandatory 3+ years of experience implementing Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP modules (Procurement, Supply Planning, Supplier Collaboration, Inventory)3+ years of experience working with technical teams on Azure and Oracle cloud technology solutions is a must.Prior experience with product management tools (road mapping, mockups, wireframes, product marketing, etc.)Ability to extract and document customer needs/business requirements for use by enterprise architecture and engineering teams (network, system, and software)Knowledge of developer tools, project management tools, CI/CD & DevOps processes, UI/UX tools, operational tools, and/or application management tools, including monitoring tools etc.Experience with managing software development cycles implementing agile methodologies.Expertise in understanding business value drivers, investment decisioning process, business case development, cost, and recovery models with understanding of a broader business contextProficient knowledge of product management techniques (product roadmap development, feature team planning, agile methodology),Proven ability to develop and nurture a product strategy - with direct experience in strategic planning, product management practices, and organizational, operational and/or technical change; Possess an up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends and emerging technology and innovation.Working knowledge of web technologies, microservices and cloud architectureStrong technical skills in analyzing functional business processes, process modeling, business modeling tools, data requirements, developing system solutions and documentation standardsExcellent analytical/problem-solving skills, including data analysis, business processes and fit-gap analysis.
