Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Bank Reconciliation Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing regular reconciliations of bank accounts and financial statements, ensuring that all financial transactions are accurately recorded, and resolving any discrepancies efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.
  • Compare bank statements with the company's general ledger to identify discrepancies.
  • Investigate and resolve any differences in financial records, such as missing transactions, bank errors, or unrecorded fees.
  • Collaborate with the accounts payable and receivable teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Prepare journal entries for any necessary adjustments to correct discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date reconciliation documentation for audit purposes



Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in bank reconciliations, cash management, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
