Accounts Receivable Specialist

The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be an integral part of the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, and will support month-end reconciliation, credit assessments, and customer service efforts. Your attention to detail and ability to resolve customer inquiries will be key to success in this position. Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Daily Invoicing to generate and manage invoices by verifying sales orders and applying correct billing policies.
- Customer Service serves as a point of contact for customer inquiries regarding invoices, orders, and payments, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Payment Processing to post customer payments, manage bank deposits, and track account balances.
- Collections efforts to assist with overdue accounts to reduce financial risk.
- Account Reconciliations supporting month-end close by verifying accounts receivable and generating financial reports.
- Credit Assessment to establish credit limits by reviewing customer accounts.
- Reporting to provide regular financial data for internal review to aid in decision-making.
What We're Looking for in the Next Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Proven experience as an Accounts Receivable Specialist or in a similar finance role.
- Familiarity with accounting principles and billing practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (NetSuite ideally) and Excel is preferred.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Salary: $41,600 - $52,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications plus an annual bonus.
