Travel Nurse RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit - $1,419 per week

Certification Details BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required TNCC is preferred Covid vaccine or approved declination required Job Details THIS POSITION REQUIRES A FULL 3 YEARS OF ICU EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED. The right candidate will have 3 full years of current ICU experience Travelers could also float to the sister facility Mercy Gilbert, if needed. Typically, every other weekend is required but might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy and needs extra coverage. Flexibility is a must. Travelers must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts. There is also a pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation (study guides will be provided with the first day instructions). COVID vaccine is required or declination form with appropriate documentation AND hospital approval. Job Requirements 3 full years of current ICU experience Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and AZ license or compact license (TNCC is preferred). Must pass a dysrhythmia exam upon offer with 2 max attempts. Pass/fail Sim Lab on Day 1 of orientation. Dysrhythmia Exam required 24-48hrs PRIOR TO ACCEPTANCE of a position. Schedule Information Typically, every other weekend is required Might have to work 3 weekends a month if unit is busy Must be willing to self-schedule and potentially work on holidays No additional call/standby shifts required May be low censused up to 3 times per contract depending on unit needs Self-scheduling is allowed Manager may need to balance shifts for unit needs Unit Specific Information Nurse:Patient Ratios are 1:2 or 1:1 RNs are required to titrate drips No nurse aids on the unit, used for sitters and as Health Unit Secretary No Tele/Monitor Techs on unit, RN required to interpret their own strip Additional Details ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications are necessary Recent ICU experience is a must Expected to float between all 3 ICUs at the facility Uniform dress code: Navy scrubs
