Full-Stack Developer Job details Posted 09 October 2024 Location Hilshire Village, TX 77055 Job type Contract Reference 939404 Job description The Software Engineer will assist in supporting a Fortune 500 corporate system in a variety of roles as needed. This person will be able to assist customers with day-to-day operations, work with the IT team in troubleshooting system anomalies, and assist with custom development. They will work as part of a software engineering team building new solutions, enhancements, and defect fixes. This includes providing technical assistance to other team members and IT peers in addition to delivering coded solutions for enhancements and new functionality. The individual will be responsible for delivery of technical designs, technical development, testing, and implementation support. This position will require exercising critical problem-solving skills for situations that need immediate technical resolutions as well as providing long term solutions. Responsibilities Assist with day-to-day system support Develop software in an agile environment using various configuration management technologies. Deliver technical designs, estimates of development time, and plan individual deliverable work. Develop functionality with a focus on quality and assuring proper unit and integration test coverage. Collaborate with QA team to support test plans and execution. Prepare and present status updates for current work tasks, share any blocking items, and provide expected completion dates of work items. Assist architects and leads with technical specifications and develop solutions in support of business requirements. Work directly with team members and business analysts to understand new/changing business requirements and functional enhancements as requested. This includes delivering high-value technical solutions in support of changing business requirements and initiatives. Assist with performing systems analysis for projects of major scope and various complexities to provide a means for solving technical and business-related problems/challenges. Support existing business application(s) by troubleshooting issues, analyzing possible cause, defining solutions, and working through defined change control processes to enable quick resolution. Acquire and maintain system and business knowledge needed to support both end users and other internal or external technical teams. Qualifications 5 years programming experience Bachelor of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university, or 5 years of related industry experience or equivalent technical experience. Computer Science, Computer Information Systems (CIS), or Management Information Systems (MIS) degree is preferred. Ability to troubleshoot various system issues as they arise. Proficient knowledge of various technologies including Relational Databases, C# .Net, Entity Framework and Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. Nice to have knowledge of SQL Server Reporting Services, Angular, Typescript, HTML, Bootstrap, Git, REST APIs, Kendo UI for Angular, RabbitMQ, NServiceBus, ODATA, Test Driven Development, modern testing frameworks, and Highway.Data.
