Come join our team as we support a large 5-year IT government contract for the Naval Air Systems Command Position Type: Full Time Work Site: Patuxent River, MD Work Location: Remote (see COVID-19 procedures below) COVID-19 Procedures: On-boarding will require 1-2 visits to Patuxent River, MD. Training will be virtual and telework maximized/permitted to the greatest extent possible, however training/tasking may require on-site work a few hours per week. Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required. Future on-site/telework requirements/schedules may change as additional client direction is received. Essential Functions: Performs the installation, integration, configuration, testing, documentation, troubleshooting, security implementation, and configuration management of websites and application systems hosted on Windows based servers Troubleshooting and resolve issues related to server and software issues Provides direct support through a ticketing system to application owners, developers, government entities and related internal and external teams Occasional evening/weekend on-site support for upgrades/patching is required Other duties as assigned or required Qualifications and Experience: Required: BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience. Windows web/systems administration experience required Installation/configuration of web and application server software required Troubleshooting of server/software issues required Active CompTIA Security certification required (Advanced certifications CASP or CISSP also acceptable) Desired : Knowledge of DISA STIGS and Security Policies desired Security Clearance: Active Secret clearance or higher required. Ability to obtain a TS/SCI required. Education : BS/BA degree and 10 years related experience OR AA/AS degree and 14 years related experience OR HS and 16 years related experience.
