Job Summary: The BI Delivery Manager - Americas is a champion and liaison between the business & IT to make sure all the business intelligence & analytical needs of the business are well understood & documented. The BI Delivery Manager - Americas is responsible to deliver technical solutions for the documented business needs by leading a group of both direct as well as strategic partner technical resources making sure the technical solutions are aligned with overall CooperVision BI strategy defined by the BI Director, Data Management & Analytics. Responsibilities Identify improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enhance delivery of reporting and analytics products. Gather, document, and understand all business Data and Analytics needs through closely working with and interviewing business counterparts. Define initiatives and product roadmaps by breaking down business needs into meaningful requests, creating projects and enhancement initiatives. Guide the work of BI architects, ETL analysts & Report analysts to breakdown business requests into meaningful IT intakes. Guide the work of the Delivery Coordinator to create & manage backlogs of IT intakes. Prioritize intakes, provide status on current work and any/all clarifications needed by technical team, through direct interaction with business on weekly or as needed basis. Review and manage technical team weekly capacity to ensure technical team's capacity is correctly aligned with all the business priorities. Negotiate with BI program manager on any additional capacity needs and manage on weekly or as needed basis. Manage and present monthly/as needed operational and financial metrics reviews with BI program manager covering: Count of changes in backlog Count of changes implemented in a release Count of changes planned in next release Hours of capacity used in a release Hours of capacity planned for next release Number of defects found in a release Number of incidents found in a release Hours of capacity used for incidents in a release Ensure reporting on support team daily, weekly and monthly report/dashboard/data load usage & performance metrics, evaluate same and socialize with business partners. Create action plan on low usage reports through working with the business users. Align internal resources and third parties/vendors by working with the Delivery Coordinator for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope. Track and analyze projects' performance and report about any possible or current blockers, risks, overflows, deficits. Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility. Manage project teams to keep project tasks, schedules, timelines and outcomes proceeding according to agreed schedule. Communicate to the management any agreed changes to the project scope and project schedule. Track and analyze project performance, schedule and report to the management on the changes, as well as being able to suggest the improvements to all the above. Report and escalate to management as needed. Draft and present team's performance reviews. Close out project and documentation, pass project deliverables to operations. Travel Requirements : Domestic and/or international travel is estimated at 10% annually. Qualifications Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Strong, proven analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to effectively manage large and diverse teams. Global team experience a plus. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills. Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Work Environment: Office position Long exposure to computer screen and keyboard/mouse Experience: 5 to 8 years of experience working within BI & Analytics programs Hands on experience working with BI reporting tools (e.g. Cognos, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) Experience with data warehousing & SQL. Experience with pre-packaged analytics tool like Noetix is a plus. Experience with business relationship & program/project management practices. Experience with MS Office toolset (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Experience with data governance concepts & tools is a plus. Experience with master data management concepts & tools is a plus. Experience working with Oracle EBS is a plus. Education: Bachelor's degree in a technology discipline is desired or commensurate experience to meet requirements. Minority/Female/Disability/Veteran For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $102,365.00 and $146,236.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments.
