Job Summary:
This role has a significant role in the development, planning, and execution of an annual CooperVision (CVI) internal communications strategy. The role strategically drives CooperVision forward by creating divisional communications to inform, educate, and engage internal constituents. The Communications Manager will interface with global CVI employees at all levels.
Responsibilities
Endorse and support a CooperVision internal communications strategy to increase visibility, focus and alignment around CVI's strategic business priorities, key growth drivers, and employee engagement.Partner with CooperCompanies' corporate communications team on intranet strategy execution. Uphold CVI brand standards, create content, and provide support to CVI's global intranet content managers.Partner with, influence and guide CooperVision's functional and regional communications team leads to provide visibility of upcoming global communications, customized messaging, templated resources for use and/or cascading throughout the division, along with best practices.Serve as integral team member on CVI projects and initiatives as needed.Create and deliver best-in-classmessaging for corporate news, campaigns, and special projects.Create and post global content to CVI's internal channels to include intranet/internet, mass employee emails, town halls and presentations, large-scale announcements. Provide relevant and timely content to CVI's External Communications teams to support corporate public relations and social media.Continually evaluate and use metrics to measure the performance of internal communications programs. Utilize results to identify opportunities to further increase employee engagement.Partner with CooperCompanies' and CooperSurgical's communication teams where needed to encourage cross-divisional collaboration, ensure message alignment, foster relationships, surface critical communication needs, identify and act on departmental synergies.Primary contributor to divisional communications calendar, regularly highlighting key business priorities, cultural engagement opportunities, innovation, brand and patient storytelling, as well as educational content. Ensure visibility of upcoming events and communications by CooperCompanies and CooperSurgical team members.Implement new and creative approaches to increase internal awareness of organizational initiatives, product launches, and other areas of priority identified by divisional leadership.Assist in cultivation of a shared archive of CVI communication assets including b-roll and imagerySupport CooperCompanies' and CooperVision's Core Communication Teams during times of company-related crisis.Travel:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Experience making significant contributions to corporate communication programs designed to drive organizational change.Strong written, editorial, and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, ability to multi-task and lead multiple projects.Proven ability to adapt initiatives and communications for cultural differences.Self-starter who demonstrates creative and critical thinking skills.Demonstrates highest level of integrity.A natural and effective collaborator who can work cross-functionally and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Executive presence and the ability to use tact and professionalism, including in times of stress.Must be able to work at times under tight deadlines and manage accordingly to turn around deliverables.Prior experience required in working directly with senior leaders and executives on communications in various forms.Work Environment:
Hybrid schedule; minimum 3 days per week onsite.Global involvement that requires flexibility to support different time zones.Experience:
A minimum of 7-10+ years of professional communications experience in corporate communications.Ability to successfully operate in a global team environment.Experience working with, influencing, and advising senior leaders and executives.Specific experience with employee and executive communications preferred.Education:
Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, business, and related fields, or equivalent experience.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $97,070.00 and $129,426.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
