Job Description:The RoleThe Health and Welfare Operations Solutions Business Analyst works on the front line of high impact business-driven initiatives and internal product improvement opportunities. This role will be focusing on supporting our ongoing operations for our Health and Welfare clients and Reimbursement Account clients.The Team The Operations Solutions Team is essential to Fidelity's Health & Welfare organization. We are accountable for the accuracy of file business requirements that are critical to our ability to serve as a directed record keeper for our plan sponsors. We also serve as process authorities and are responsible for supporting business analysis for system development projects to ensure that the systems are functioning according to the detailed business requirements.The Expertise You Have Minimum 5 years of Business Analysis experience in financial services, HR, payroll, benefits, systems development, product development, and/or project/product managementExperience with Health Care Industry specific file interfacesPayroll, Human Resources and Benefits experience is desiredStrong knowledge of Fidelity's End to End business process life cycle and a solid grasp of data process flows, plan level provisions, and Fidelity HRS recordkeeping processes.Functional experience with Microsoft ExcelAbility to perform analysis on large data sets, preferredANSI Knowledge, preferredExperience with file creation strategies across formats, preferredCBAP Certification, preferredThe Skills You Bring Your proficient understanding of core product mechanics, benefit administration systems, and regulatory environmentYour critical thinking skills with good judgment and initiative; ability to think across functions and product categoriesThe ability to analyze project/product issuesYour ability to function at a high level in a dynamic and high-reaching work environmentYour strong organizational skills to define and meet delivery goals within highly matrixed organizationYour teamwork, influencing skills, strong presentation skillsYour experience with product experience a plusYour understanding of the Project and Portfolio Management (PPM) MethodologyYour proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and large data toolsThe Value You Deliver As part of the Fidelity Heath Care Operations organization, the Operations Solutions Business Analyst is responsible for a book of internal projects. He or she examines business systems, client needs and processes to document requirements, and address operational issues or process improvement needs to accomplish business and client objectives.
