Our client is a reputable, family-owned company located in the Central Western Suburbs that distributes medical equipment to the health care industry. They are looking for a
PURCHASING CLERK
TEMP TO HIRE
Pay Rate: $19/HR
Hours:8:00am – 4:30pm (Mon – Fri)
DUTIES Include (but not limited to):
Processing of Dropship Purchase Orders (Data Entry)
Review PO acknowledgements by email and calling vendors
Index PO confirmation in DocLink paperless system
Clearing Purchasing status in DocLink paperless workflow (Sorting stock from dropship items)
Reviewing backorders to determine if the items are to be drop shipped or brought into the facility
Check status of open purchases orders by email and calling vendors
Filing the company's purchase orders in warehouse mobile filing cabinet
Other tasks and project as assigned
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED
1+ years previous Purchasing experience
Must be detail oriented
Able to multi-task
Strong Organizational skills
Must be reliable and have own transportation
Technical:
Intermediate computer skills
Microsoft Word & Outlook knowledge required
Good Typing skills
Good communication skills
Software: (Will be using the following)
Sage 100 (ERP System)
Dual Monitors
Paperless workflow system (DocLink)
Physical Demand:
General Office and Warehouse environment
Sitting, Standing, Walking, Bending up to 8+ hours per day
