And 2 FT CRNAs to start 9/28PRN - 7a-3p. Weekends and Holidays are optionalFT - 7a-5p Monday - Friday. Must be responsible for prepping the charts for the next day. Expected to enter the call rotation which includes 24-hour beeper call shifts on weekends. There are no scheduled shifts on the weekends6 main ORs, 7 L&D suites, 2 endo suites, Cath Lab/Fluro-Radiology4 concurrent anesthetizing locations from 7a - 5p; typically, 4 CRNAs in-house with 3 MDs each morning except on Wednesdays when there is only 2Anesthesia Staffing Model: Functions in an anesthesia care team model; anesthesiologist providing supervision of the CRNAs; budgeted for 4 full-time MDs and 5 full-time and 1 part-time CRNA - many long-term anesthesia providers at this locationSurgical Case Mix: No heads/no heart; orthopedics w/use of regional anesthesia, endoscopies, new EP service starting but scope of cases not yet knowSurgical Volumes: 3,000 - 3,200 annually; Fridays are the busiest scheduled day; Wednesdays typically the lightestOB Volumes: typically, 700 - 800 deliveries; 90% are labor-epidurals/C-section; C-section rate 30%; no VBACs - L&D is on the same floor as the main ORs.
