Job Description:

The Role

As a member of the Brokerage Strategy and Planning team, the Director will work closely with leaders and teams across the domain to drive strategy and business management practices that optimize value for Fidelity customers and associates! The role requires a balance of analytical and problem solving, process management, and communication and influencing skills to support key activities of the team which include:

  • Leads and contributes to pivotal initiatives and collaborates on efforts to translate strategy into execution.
  • Implements and facilitates strategic business processes and practices that champion alignment and efficiency and enable decision making and/or action.
  • Coordinates with other key support functions (e.g., HR, Finance, Agile) to ensure a holistic approach to strategy and execution.
  • Authors compelling materials to effectively explain our strategy and present persuasively to drive the business to action.
  • Supports broader planning and business management responsibilities of the Strategy and Planning team during critical times, as needed
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
  • Bachelor s degree is required, MBA is preferred
  • 12 + years of professional experience
  • Shown strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and articulate connections across separate but related concepts
  • Ability to represent large complex problems and solutions at the right level for senior leader consumption and decision making
  • Experience designing, implementing, and coordinating business management processes that drive value for their stakeholders
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and visual communication skills and comfort addressing/influencing leaders and teams
  • Consistent track record of collaborating to build consensus and alignment across and within multiple teams, levels, and functions of an organization
