Student Accounts Representative (Part-Time)

We are seeking a motivated Student Accounts Representative to join the bursar's office of a respected college in Springfield, MA. As a Student Accounts Representative, you will provide essential support to the student accounts department by handling accounts receivable, managing student billing, and assisting with collections. This part-time position is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for helping students manage their financial obligations.

$16-$20/hour

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and send out student billing statements in a timely manner.
• Make calls to students regarding past-due balances and set up payment arrangements.
• Respond to student emails and inquiries about account balances, payment plans, and other account-related questions.
• Manage the collection process by following up on delinquent accounts and working with students to resolve payment issues.
• Assist with maintaining accurate records of student accounts and payments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in accounts receivable, billing, or customer service is preferred.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
