Position Summary:

This position is responsible ensuring compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations, implementing and enforcing human resource policies and procedures. The main duties include analyzing, preparing and inputting payroll data using an automated system to produce accurate and timely payroll, timekeeping, attendance tracking, report generation, benefit administration, ethics training and tracking, and completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Human Resources Department, based the strategic needs of the Company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

All payroll processing using Paylocity for union and non-union employees for multiple sites, including paycheck distribution,Employee setup and maintenance through HRIS (employee badges and access level approval)Analyze and distribute monthly reports (i.e. payroll, employee hours, headcount, perfect attendance, service awards, etc.)Benefit administration (Contract Renewals under the guidance of the third-party administrator)Coordination of annual open enrollment and employee wellness programLeave of absence administration (disability, workers' compensation, FMLA, ADA. etc.)Employment verificationsUnemployment formsEmployee recognition awardsAdministration of the collective bargaining agreementAnalyze Attendance Control Program and monitor general misconductTrack Step Increase days worked to ensure increases are properly and timely appliedTime-off trackingOther duties as assignedRequirements

Minimum Requirements:

Due to ITAR regulations, must be a U.S. PersonMust have working knowledge of labor laws, including affirmative action3-5 years of HR experience3-5 years of experience working in a union environment3-5 years of employee onboarding experience3-5 years of payroll processing experienceAdvanced computer skills, including payroll and application tracking softwareExcellent verbal and written communication skillsDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skillsStrong interpersonal and innovative skillsTraining experiencePreferred:

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related fieldSHRM certificationExperience with benefits administrationExperience with 401k systems and filings (ex. 5500 filing)Experience with Paylocity

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, drawings, set-up sheets, travelers, procedure manuals and government regulations.

Computer Skills:

Work Environment:

The physical surroundings for this position are inside a factory and product manufacturing environment with work split between the offices and shop areas at all the UMBRAGROUP facilities and at customer and/or vendor locations worldwide. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise levels are moderate to loud.
