Administrative CoordinatorJob DescriptionThis position is open due to one of the office members retiring at the end of 2025.Work collaboratively with the team to process claims and resolve complex claim problems as needed. Track, verify, and release claims that are on hold. Resolve provider and BCBS questions regarding claim payment.Upload weekly files to utilization companies, ensure accuracy of the information in those files, and resolve any issues or problems that may arise.Run month-end and quarter-end reports for clients. This includes standard reports, as well as any ad-hoc reports requested by clients.Prepare and file year-end tax reports, as well as any other necessary filings or information.Prepare for Board of Trustee meetings, provide necessary reports or operational information as needed, and coordinate any budgetary issues with the consultant.Troubleshoot and resolve PC/hardware issues. Coordinate with software and technical vendors as needed.Maintain all relevant communications and appropriate documents that relate to claims operation activities, as well as Board of trustee meetings.Maintain positive working relationships and communication with clients, vendors, and carriers.Skills+ Claims processing+ Report generation+ Tax report preparation+ PC/hardware troubleshooting+ File managementJob TypeThis is a permanent position.Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Rock Island, Illinois.Work EnvironmentOffice of 2-4 but there are other people at the sheet metal office. Business manager and a few other union employees, maybe 10-15 people total.
