Salary: $85,000 - $120,000 per year

Multiple offices throughout New York that focus in architecture, engineering, environmental, and land surveying consulting within government, institutional, healthcare, education, municipal, and more. This project would be an institutional project, this person should have experience doing institutional work!

Join our dynamic team as a Permanent Architectural Designer in the heart of Manhattan (Midtown)! We are an innovative engineering firm seeking a talented and experienced professional to contribute to our exciting projects. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a variety of projects, ranging from residential buildings to large commercial structures. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating architectural designs from conception to completion, using their extensive knowledge and experience in Revit and dRofus software. Responsibilities:

  1. Creating and developing architectural designs and concepts for a variety of projects.
  2. Utilizing Revit and VR Rendering to produce high-quality, detailed architectural designs.
  3. Collaborating with project teams to ensure designs meet client specifications and expectations.
  4. Coordinating with other professionals, such as engineers and construction teams, to ensure design integrity and project success.
  5. Overseeing the design process from initial concept to final completion, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  6. Presenting designs and proposals to clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  7. Staying updated with the latest architectural trends, technology, and regulations, incorporating them into designs as appropriate.

Qualifications:

  1. A bachelor's degree in Architecture, or related field.
  2. Minimum of 3+ years of experience as an architectural designer in an engineering or architectural firm - specifically with institutional work.
  3. Proficiency in Revit and VR Rendering is a must.
  4. Exceptional design and drafting skills with a keen eye for detail.
  5. Strong understanding of architectural principles and technology.
  6. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to present complex design concepts clearly.
  7. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  8. Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  9. A portfolio of previous work that demonstrates your design skills and creativity.
