We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Production Planner to join our team in the Manufacturing Industry. This is a permanent position and offers an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in our company's production process. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Continuous Process Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement, with a proven ability to optimize production processes for efficiency and effectiveness. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain detailed production plans and schedules to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency in line with business objectives.
- Coordinate with different departments such as procurement, production, and logistics to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
- Utilize Continuous Process Manufacturing techniques to streamline production processes and minimize waste.
- Implement Continuous Improvement strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.
- Monitor production progress, anticipate potential issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate risks.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure timely delivery of products and meet customer satisfaction.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and generate reports for management review.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in a production planning role within the Manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in Continuous Process Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement techniques.
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in using production planning software and tools.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Certification in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) or similar will be an added advantage.
